Associate Justice of the Supreme Court Paul Newby will speak
at the Gardeners of Wake County meeting Tuesday November 15. Refreshments will
be served.
The meeting is 7:30 pm at JC Raulston Arboretum at NC State
University, 4415 Beryl Road, Raleigh.
Justice Newby has a 126 acre farm and will speak on the
topic "Gentlemen Farming in North Carolina". He will also answer
questions about agricultural law.

In an interview on CNBC, former Fed Chairman Alan Greespan commented upon the efforts of the Federal government to stimulate the economy through Federal spending and QE1 + QE2. Alan Greespan said that QE2 "had some effect on the exchange rate" (Negatively), but he's "ill-aware of anything that really worked".
